"The picture promises a beautiful sand beach and the write up describes “Sun loungers” leading me to believe the property had a sand beach on site.
The sand beach is 1.8 km from the property.
There were no Sun loungers outdoors to be found.
The indoor space was beautiful. I wish they would have focused on what they have (lovely indoor public spaces and spacious rooms) rather than posting a picture of a beach that is not easily accessible."

"The stay was comfortable and the gardens lovely. The drinks and barstaff great, reception great and friendly with advice on sight seeing.
The room was comfortable and clean. There was a broken window pane and the furnishings were dated.
Bed comfortable.
The food was disappointing. I had a seafood chowder which was pretty good and the fish tasted fresh. the main was a steak that looked pale and was not cooked with lots of fat and gristle, the vegetables were overcooked. The desert tasted OK but...

"Beautiful, spacious property. Practical Details for Americans: they have a water kettle not a coffee pot, so purchase instant or bag coffee before you come, not beans or ground. They have a washer and dryer. You need to bring pods and be aware, it's a condenser dryer that takes about 2 hours to dry a verysmall load (5-6 items). Be sure to empty the dryer water tank. It's muddy on the property, so bring slippers or alternate shoes plus something to put your shoes in to protect your suitcase....
