"I was visiting Forres for a work event and needed a hotel nearby. The Carlton was lovely. The staff were exceptionally friendly and welcoming; check in was a breeze. The room was super clean and had all the amenities you needed. The bed was excellent and very comfy. Would thoroughly recommend this excellent hotel which is great value for money."

"I have been travelling for 2 weeks and this is, by far, the best accommodations i have had. The room was very clean, well equipped and had a very comfortable bed. The bathroom and shower were awesome. The restaurant was good value. Breakfast was the best! Great server and excellent food to start your day. The guy at reception was friendly, clear on explaining the hotel amenities and helpful. Just an excellent experience there all around."

"Wonder step back in time. Quiet , unassuming and comfortable. You relax as soon as you step through the doors. Small dinner menu but freshly cooked, reasonably priced and delicious. "Great situation for the shops just a 5/10 minute walk away. Parking at the hotel is good. Rooms spacious and comfortable and clean the only thing that is a let down is the bathroom it’s a bit outdated found the shower slippy and no where to put your shower gel and shampoo. Breakfast is very good with plenty of choice and full cooked breakfast is very good and hot. Didn’t have dinner was not keen on the menu but it might be good for others but not me.
