Top Rothesay Hotel Reviews

Rosslea Hall Hotel

Rosslea Hall Hotel

8/10 Good
"I'd read the reviews and was a bit nervous but we were only staying one night so...... The Hotel is in a lovely situation. Young man on reception helpful and welcoming. There's no lift and 4 flights to first floor but a young lady staff member helped us up to our room. Basic room with view over the bay, weather decent so a great view of the Clyde. The room was clean. Bathroom had shower over the bath and no handholds so a bit scary getting out. We ate in as we couldn't be bothered to look for somewhere. Reception had warned us the menu was limited and they were bringing food in. The meals were fine but obviously Heinz Tomato soup and up market off the shelf mains along with the mark up prices of a Hotel. It was a very nice light dining room and the waitress was good and attentive Breakfast was continental help yourself. The Dining room was very busy but the trays of pastries etc. were constantly being filled. We would stay here again but it currently feels as if it's either going to close or undergo a refurb."
