"The owner let us check-in early and it was a very easy process. He was helpful. He even had to explain how to work the TV remote not once but twice as it nearly brought us to our knees. We never thought to turn the TV on via a light switch. The owner showed and we had a good laugh as being new TVs the company installed them with the light switch turn on and did not tell the owner. I believe said it took about 3 weeks to work out the bugs. The remote was little and did not have hardly any...

"This was a clean, well maintained place to stay. It had the feel of the country in the middle of the city. The staff was extremely helpful. When they saw me struggling up the stairs with my suitcase the owner stopped to help me. In the morning as I was struggling down the stairs the housekeeper offered to help me! Comfortable and had everything you needed. I would definitely stay again."

"Hot tub had cold water. If the staff knows the heater is not working in spa, then they should not tell guests it is working. Other than that, the breakfast was not something to brag about. They just need more staff to get things running more smoothly."

"The property was historic and good location. Check in was terrible. I felt like was was inconveniencing them. There was a coffee thermos that was empty and a thermos of hot water so I asked if they had any water and was told there is water in your room I replied no I didn’t see any and was asked did you look in the bathroom!"

"For the price, I felt this hotel was very cheap in every way. Breakfast quality was subpar and the same for cleanliness of the room and hotel. For older people, there is no elevator. I had better experience at smaller motels but then the price was half the cost this hotel changed."

"The staff was wonderful for our 7 day trip! Breakfast was delicious and clean each morning. The only issue we had was the ice machine out of order a few days but there was a baseball tournament that weekend with lots of players staying at the hotel. Didn't bother us. We still enjoyed our trip!"

"I'd go back because of the price mainly and the nice staff. Couple issues though, no cover on the back of the remote and the AC units are pretty old, so it was loud and we had to have it on low in order to hear the TV, which was all the way on high. Also, our room did not lock behind you so we didn't leave much behind when we went out for a smoke. "
