"Quiet room, spacious. Staff was very nice especially the gentleman on duty at night, very knowledgeable about the history of the city. Breakfast is excellent with excellent products (local "charcuterie" and cheese). A little far from downtown (1o min walk) but not that bad. Old building well maintained and the room I had was very comfortable."

"Room was ok but no aircon just a fan. Windows opened on to a noisy road. This went on all night. Shower had lots of mould on it. When we came back from breakfast the linen and towels for the next people were on the floor outside each room so no doubt ours had spent time on the floor too. Awful as people’s shoes may have been on it. Breakfast was poor. Stuff not topped up speedily. Coffee table chairs so low unusable and everyone cramped on benches. "We arrived at the hotel hot and tired. to find it was closed. We had no prior warning, only a notice on the door giving a telephone number. We called this number and were diverted to another hotel, the Beausejour, ten minutes walk away. The room here was shabby with no wifi and no breakfast available."
