The setup and location are very convenient. Even though we were facing the street, we did not get any street noise. The private rooms are an excellent value.

Near the central of the city , walk 5 mins to Santa’s city office. Walk 3 mins to bus No. 8 where you can go to Santa’s village or airport directly. The room is a little bit cold as the heating radiators do not work. The staffs are very helpful and the price is acceptable.

Hi, thank you for your visit and you review! We have a central heating, so the radiator might be cold sometimes when the temperature is enough. It is automatic, and when the temperature drops below 21, it starts to heat again. Typical indoor temperature in Finland is 21 degrees. Lovely clean modern rooms and facilities. Great shared kitchen and lounge area for chilling out. Staff were really friendly and the breakfast was fab. The cafe where we had breakfast was also lovely. Great location and would definitely stay again

I hate to say anything negative about Hostel Cafe Koti because we liked so much about it--the kitchen, the sauna, the location, the staff--but there aren't individual thermostats in the rooms, just central heat. They seem to turn down the heat mid-day when most guests are out. When we came back after morning activities, we had to get in bed to get warm.

Staff were very friendly from check in to check out. Breakfast was included and whilst the only hot food was porridge it was very tasty and warming and there were preserves, seeds and nuts that could be added. There was also freshly baked bread and a selection of boiled eggs, turkey meat and salads. Great coffee and juices as well. The location was excellent being near most of the adventure companies offering tours as well as a lot of restaurants. Easy to get to - we caught the bus from the airport and got off at a stop that was very close. Definitely recommend.

We stayed in a double room which was excellent. Clean modern very comfy. No TV , was fine for us for a change. Hostel is very safe with key cards for all doors and lift. Breakfast was great, simple but fresh, and replenished throughout. Place has a good vibe, staff v friendly. Highly recommend this place as value for money

Everything was perfect. Staff were approachable and always on hand if needed. Cafe was well stocked and service was excellent. The room was spacious, clean and sound-proof. Bus service just a five minute walk away.

I absolutely love my stay at Cafe Koti. Staff were friendly, and the palce's design is very colorful and interesting. Staff were really helpful with assisting me where to visit while in Rovaniemi. Highly recommended, and pricing is fair.

Friendly place with friendly people
Good location in the city center but near the river as well. Very friendly and helpful staff. Great caffeteria with lunch options and nice atmosphere. Beautiful interior design in rooms and in common spaces. Comfortable bed. Great breakfast.

Nice place to stay
Really good location, super clean, nice staff , just at night the heater was not enough, the room was cold, i think was not ON but you can not manage the temperature. Breakfast good as well .

We have an automatic heating system, and the rooms dont heat up more than 21 degrees. Therefore, the heaters might feel a little cold, as they dont heat up any higher. The ladies at the reception were extremely nice and helpful. Check in was very easy and efficient. Our room for 5 people was very spacious and clean. All the workers we encountered were extremely friendly and made our stay very nice. Highly recommend this hostel.

How perfect can life be?
I stayed at this hotel for many days. My room was not cleaned when it was 5th day. I was going to the shared kitchen to prepare a meal, i saw a cleaning lady on the way. i asked her how often the rooms are cleaned she said: once a week, but i can clean your room right now if you want. i agreed and went to the shared kitchen. when i was waiting my meal to finish in microvawe i opened a fridge, i found there 2 beers, with a note that said: free for grabs :). There i was watching TV and eating dinner, drinking free beer and chokolade i found in a kitchen while my room was being cleaned and wondering, how perfect can life be? When i came back to my room after my meal, everything was compleately clean. Even my pants that i left on the floor were folded nicely and put on the bed. well after an experience like that i decided i will not say anything nagative about this hotel ever. They say that the road to a mans heart goes through his stomach. Well my stomach was full of beer. best thing is that the next day, there were still free beer on the fridge and i left the tip to the cleaningcloset, hoping that the cleaner will find it with a note thanking her. well the next time she came to work she cleaned my room again :) How can i critisize this hotel anymore? they stole my heart!

Stayed in a double room and loved it. It was spacious, clean and warm, the breakfast was filling and everything was freshly prepared. The staff are friendly, the Hotel is central to the town, surrounded by pubs and supermarkets. Definitely recommended.

My wife and I got covid 48 hours before this trip to Rovaniemi during Christmas. The hotel had little to no empathy on cancellation/refunding us this trip or making any exceptions. They are cold as a wall. Not the type of establishment I would want to be associate with.

Cancellation terms are advised to be noted when making the reservation. The customer needs to read the valid terms and conditions and accept the reservation terms and conditions which are valid during the reservation before making the reservation. Reservations that are made for December / January needs to be cancelled 30 days before the reservation starts so we can make the refund and it's your own risk to travel during these times. Overall great hostel except the cold room
The hostel was great. The only negative thing I would have to say is that our room was pretty cold, and there was no way to turn up the heat since the thermostat was already at its highest temperature (it didn’t seem to be working very well).

Nous avons passé un très bon séjour dans cet hébergement. Nous avons séjourné en chambre privée juste en face du sauna de l'auberge. L'hébergement est au centre ville et à côté de l'arrêt de bus pour se rendre à l'aéroport et au village du père noël. Le petit déjeuner est super.
