"Great budget (sort of, Kauai is expensive no matter what) property. Home of the famous Lava Lava toes-in-the-sand beach bar. The staff were exceptional, and exceptionally helpful :) FREE bike rentals!! Come on, it doesn’t get better than that!! Rooms were clean, with spacious lanais. I loved the colour scheme and mid century beach motel feel. Would recommend!"

"The resort is self is old, but the location is awesome and most of the people that work. There are very friendly except for one gentleman who is extremely rude. They really need to have their rooms a little bit cleaner."

"Staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was simple with fresh fruit and grab and take items. They do have a microwave. Parking was great! Loved the ocean view and easy access to restaurants, beaches and walking paths. Were disappointed with the one bathroom window that was in need of repair around the frame. It had very dark stuff around it like dirt, rust or mold(??)."

Renovated bathroom with oversized tub but challenging entry/exit which could be resolved with handle assist. Great parking and awesome pool with waterfall. "

"There were many fees that were not disclosed. For example there is a parking fee for every night you stay that is not mentioned until you reach for check in. There is also a “resort” fee that was not disclosed even though it is a hotel. So there’s an extra charge that you will have to spend outside of your package booking.
