Aston Islander on the Beach
10/10 Excellent
"The hotel has beautifully landscaped gardens and is right on the beach. The pool and bar were very nice but they didn’t have music at the Pool / bar. Our room was in decent condition clean comfortable bed, but the patio furniture was kind of dated. Shopping and restaurants are within walking distance and you can take morning walks along the beach on the walkway there. It was very relaxing and not crowded like some of the big resorts. I highly recommend it."

"We really enjoyed our time at this resort. We had ocean view and they offered 3 pools with jacuzzi to choose at any given time. The grounds were so lush with beautiful tropical foliage. And we felt very safe with security on the property grounds."

Sheraton Kauai Coconut Beach Resort

"The location is great. Right by the beach, centrally located to all the attractions. Pool and pool area are great too. The rest in my opinion falls short of the 4 star, $500+ per night (with all the taxes and fees) hotel. I would give it 3.75 stars but there is no such option. Some areas are dated. You can tell the hotel tries to maintain them by painting stuff over but it shows. For me the worst were supply and return grills for the A/C unit. Very dirty. We actually had been turning the A/C off as much as we could so we would not breathe in the dust!! Thankfully the wonderful ocean breeze helped :) Breakfast buffet is decent but it falls short of the Marriott's standards. Some more daily variety would be nice."

"Over all our stay was amazing. The view was breathtaking. Unit was clean. Was enough for just the two of us. Our unit did not have AC or central air. That is the only negative thing. I would definitely stay there again just not in August and the extreme heat."

"The property was beautiful, the path behind the resort led you to multiple sites, the beach and a bar and other points of interest. There is no AC but I think that’s to be expected most places that aren’t hotels."

"Location was very convenient. There is access to several items for excursions which is very convenient. We took advantage of that. I would recommend as a central location by the beautiful river"
