The property is a GREAT location!!! Just steps to the ocean. Beautifully manicured property with lush vegetation. The market area close by is nice and convenient. There are rooster and chickens everywhere, every part of the island. But this property the roosters begin crowing at 4:15am and there are dozens of them all crowing and it is loud. You will have troubles sleeping through it. The continuous crowing lasts most of the day. Quaint at first, but by day 2,3,4 not so quaint. The rooms need an upgrade and their air conditioning systems could also. The front desk staff are good, but also poor. Depends on who you get.

I was able to have a great ocean view and pool view fromthe third floor. The room wasa little outdated, however the location made up for it! Beach is just steps away and close to food placs/shopping. Love the walking path which runs parallell. Staff were eceptionally pleasant. Since i had view of the pool the pool man ceaned it every day for 2-3 hours including hot tub. Room was a bit dated but hey you are only sleeping there. There is no elevator so if you have a hard time going up stairs request a first or second floor. I woudl stay here again. They do have laundry faciitlites but i did not use them. Parking was not a problem and no extra fees. Overall it was a wonderful relaxing stay !

The room was clean you could smell the bleach, however the paint was peeling off the ceiling over the table, over the bed and over by the kitchen sink. Plus we are older adults and they gave us a third floor room and trying to pack 2 40 plus pound suitcases up that many stairs was ridiculous. The staff was nice, parking was ok. The toilet plugged up for no reason and for coincidence they happen to have 2 plungers under the bathroom sink. The hot water took about 5 to 10 minutes to get hot. We unfortunately will not plan on staying there again. If they would update the rooms and fix the plumbing it could be a super nice hotel. The grounds were beautiful. I would not stay there if i had kids because they have a bar at the pool so you have a bunch of drinking, questionable people watching children swimming.

Ocean front is a must at this resort to really get every moment of the ocean waves. Loved it all. The only improvement are the towels and sheets. They’re clean just not soft and comfortable.

Definitely one of the less expensive places on Kauai, you get what you pay for. Our anniversary stay followed a memorial for a friend in Oahu. So we were looking forward to some down time. Apple was at the front desk when we arrived. Super nice, very informative etc. Most front sesk staff super nice. The grounds are beautiful. Pool is very simple, bar is open for a few hours each night good drinks. Our room was a beach front. Would have been a great view but the middle sliding glass door was so messed up you could barely see through it. Besides the fact it was almost impossible for me to pull open most times, the slider didnt work. We kept it open when in the room so we could see the beautiful view and hear the ocean. Had to deal with the mosquitos crazy bad, so we left with lots of bites. We reported it the following day to the gal at front desk, no name tag. Long black hair and big false eyelashes. Very rude (what would you like me to do?) she stated she would put in a maintenance report! We took pictures and went back later to show her so she could see we were not exaggerating, again rude like really rude! My husband at that point was not happy! Takes alot to piss him off. The rooms are simple. Needs a deep clean for sure. Floors needed to be cleaned, my feet got very dirty very fast. Spots on walls, baseboards around room dirty, dusty, bugs just needed a deep clean. I dont think I would stay here again its just average and not worth the money we paid.

I was in unit 321 and had a view of the ocean. It was a nice view for a view room. Pros: great location, it is a pretty property right next to the ocean and a 5 mile walking path, next to the marketplace with shops and restaurants, comfortable bed, great amenities that included a microwave, coffee maker, toaster oven, utensils, plates, cups, glasses, mini refrigerator, nice big tv, the room was clean, the staff at the front desk was friendly and helpful. The water may be to rough to swim at that beach but there is a better beach close by that would be good. Cons: the rooms need updating, and maintenance on the paint and bathroom vanity, the lighting is poor, the hand rail on the lanai was thick so I could not see the ocean when I sat outside,

Beautiful ocean view, quiet, clean and super relaxing. Love walking to the LavaLava next door for breakfast or happy hour. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Plan on going back.

Overall the stay was adequate. Grounds were well maintained, it was quiet and Housekeeping did a nice job. The pool and spa area are dated and undersized for this property. The amenity's offered was mid leading and a Las Vegas switch and bait. The beach area in front of the property was littered with cig butts and dirty. Not sure if this is something on the hotel or county to maintain.

Very clean rooms, great staff, centrally located. I love the ocean view, the pool and the bar area. I would definitely stay again. Thank you for making our stay very memorable!

This was a stay again and again property. The staff was helpful and fun. The ocean front room was the perfect fit for our vacation. Perfect area for each end of the island! We enjoyed everything. The room was clean and quiet! Thank you!

Oceanfront room and it was great. Beautiful sunrises. Comfortable. Great food outlets next door at Coconut Market place including prime rib at the ABC store! Love it, you can't beat the location within walking distance of Lava Lave for music, drinks, breakfast or dinner.

I loved where this hotel was located. There were places to eat next to the hotel. The staff at the front desk were not too friendly and we could not get checked into our room until 3:30.
