My room had an ocean view and was clean, well appointed, and aesthetically relaxing. The staff could not have been friendlier and more generous with their time and resources to make sure I had the exact experience I wanted. I love that this is a Jamaican-owned resort, and the property was in amazing shape. It is a beautiful location. I got a wonderful massage at the spa, which was a lovely and extensive space. The weekends are more activity-heavy (live music or karaoke at night, jazz brunch on Sunday), and the weekdays were quiet and chill. Overall a 10/10 experience and I will definitely go back when I return to Jamaica!

TOP TIER Birthday Experience! From the time I booked through Expedia until the moment I departed, my experience at Tiamo Beach Resort was TOP TIER! I spent two nights celebrating my birthday, and I truly felt special in every way. Check in was seamless, I was greeted with a delicious mocktail, and the staff went above and beyond to decorate my room with beautiful Happy Birthday touches. My room was spotless and comfortable, with hot water and a luxurious tub on the balcony overlooking the water. Waking up to that view every morning was everything. The entire resort was extremely clean, the beach was peaceful and relaxing, and the food was absolutely delicious. Breakfast was included with both traditional and Jamaican style options available, and every meal was so flavorful. A very special shoutout to Malik at the front desk, Chef Birch, and Romi, the General Manager. What an incredible team! Your hospitality, kindness, and attention to detail made my birthday celebration unforgettable. Chef Birch prepared amazing meals, Malik made check in effortless, and Romi ensured every part of my stay was exceptional. They even arranged my transportation to Kingston Airport, making my departure completely stress free. Tiamo gave me the perfect reset, relaxation, and self care experience I truly needed. If you're celebrating a birthday, milestone, or any special occasion, Tiamo Beach Resort is the place to be. I can't wait to come back. Thank you Team Tiamo!

Tiamo is as the name describes - this place will make you fall in love over and over again. Tiamo is reminiscent of old Jamaican charm with a fresh approach. Once you check in you never want to leave. This private resort can do everything from private parties to weddings. I love the intimacy of this resort and the spa is fantastic. I need to give a shout out to Melanie who gave a 10 out 10 massage. I can’t wait to come back to Tiamo

This has the potential to be five star rated but unfortunately during my very short stay there was construction happening and i dont feel i was able to experience/enjoy all the amenities. Also, there were only had a handful (literally) of guest, including myself, which made it somewhat of a weird feeling - if you go with a group this would be most excellent for y'all. All the staff were friendly and extremely accommodating and the food that we ordered (escovich fish, jerk chicken, Jamaican breakfast) were all excellent. We also had a little live entertainment which was nice. I honestly wouldn't mind returning after all the reconstruction is complete and see how it all turns out.

From the moment I arrived, I was welcomed by the warmest, most attentive staff who truly made me feel like family. The food was absolutely outstanding. Every meal was freshly prepared, and bursting with flavor. What truly sets this resort apart is its peaceful, intimate ambiance only about 40 rooms, if my memory serves me right. It’s the perfect escape for anyone seeking quiet relaxation, away from the noise and crowd. The setting feels private and personal, making it easy to unwind and fully disconnect. Tiamo Resort is truly a home away from home. If you’re looking for a charming, private getaway with exceptional service and incredible food, this is the place to be. My stay at Tiamo Beach Resort & Spa was nothing short of SPECTACULAR! The staff are so attentive to your every need, and they go above and beyond to make sure you have fun and get the most out of your stay. The entertainment was incredibly fun! They have Karaoke, different live performances from so many talented artists, snorkeling, and so much more. The food tasted so good and was packed with delicious, authentic Caribbean flavors. The room we stayed in was absolutely stunning and the artwork is breathtaking! The beautiful and vibrant colors definitely made my island dream come to life. They also have a beautiful spa where I received one of the BEST massages I ever had. I appreciated that they catered my spa experience to what I like and enjoy! If you are looking for a place to unwind and relax, but also have fun and get a real taste of Jamaica, I 100% recommend Tiamo!!

My husband and I were very disappointed with our stay. This property advertises itself as a luxury resort, but our experience was anything but luxurious. When we arrived, the front gates were locked, and we couldn’t get in. There were cameras at the entrance, but no one responded while my husband stood outside in the heat for about 10 minutes. I eventually had to walk up to the gate and knock repeatedly before someone finally let us in. Once inside, we were told our room wasn’t ready, so we waited another hour after already spending time outside in the heat. The room itself had several issues. The shower drain didn’t work properly, and we had no hot water during our stay. Breakfast was just as disappointing. When we went to the restaurant, there was no host, no greeting, and no one available to seat us. There were only a couple of people there, yet it still felt completely unorganized and unwelcoming. The overall atmosphere was awkward and far from the level of service you’d expect from a resort. Unfortunately, this was one of the most uninviting resort experiences we’ve had. Based on our experience, I would recommend saving your money and staying somewhere else.

As a travel professional, I can confidently say this is a place I’d happily recommend to my clients, knowing they’ll be cared for every step of the way. The location is also ideal for those who want to explore, and if you don’t drive, transportation can easily be arranged, making everything seamless and stress-free. And I can’t forget Marney, the resident doggy princess who adds such a sweet and charming touch to the experience. Watching her stroll around the property always brings a smile to my face. Tiamo truly lives up to its name, you can feel the love in every detail. It’s more than just a stay; it’s an experience you’ll carry with you long after you leave.

Location it's good . Host told us to stretch our legs while he ensure the room was ready and he will come look for us. None of the 2 things happened, we waited for almost 3 hours and when we got tired of waiting we up to him he said he was waiting for us . I didn't like that . Worse he took us to the room 201 and it wasn't even ready end up walking us to another room that he didn't ensure it was in a condition. Shower didn't have blinds or curtains in the bathroom window , my husband was irritated he used his shirt as curtain. The place have potential with better management.

Went during an off-season but enjoyed my time here. Fantastic staff and great people! They were very welcoming and extremely helpful. If you want to kick back and relax away from the touristy areas this is the place to be!

The staff was very welcoming, checking in was awesome. Stayed for Hubby's Birthday weekend. Only bad part of trip, they are doing property upgrade and building so the noise with work tools and Tractor, but I can see whenever all improvement finish; will be amazing. Will return.

Our experience would’ve been a little better if our room had hot water. The manager said that it was a problem throughout the resort. The restaurant food at the resort wasn’t very good. There private beach was being worked as they were bringing sand in when we arrived. All in all I’d give it 2 out of 5 stars. It may get better in the future after they’ve finished working on it

Owner Ms Annika Manager Ms Natalie A 24hr water failure and appalling management made this my worst travel experience. 5/22 Lukewarm water & low pressure. 5/23 Water shut off mid-shower late night. 5/24 No water all day. Used bottled water for hygiene at 8am. Asked Ms Annika who claimed a main break & tank was being filled. When returned 8:30pm still no water. I discreetly tried to speak to Ms. Natalie, who relayed message through server to say a plumber was working on it. My driver helped me source two gallons of water. When I returned the security checked on the status with the plumber who informed he was fixing a crack. Late night a trickle returned, but the toilet wouldn't flush; I manually bucket-flushed it using the wet bar sink and garbage pail. 5/25 Asked Ms. Natalie to tell the owner my concern about the no water and that I believed some type of compensation would be due and I would like to discuss it before my departure time at 10am. 5/26 Low pressure fed only half the showerhead. Management dodged me until security called Ms. Annika at 9:50 AM. She arrived at 9:58 AM—two minutes before my shuttle pickup. Ms Annika lied repeatedly, claiming no outage happened and that we never spoke Sunday. Ms Natalie stayed muted, intimidated by her boss. I proposed a fair compromise: give back cash deposit & room charges, which was less than 1/2 night be comped, eventho customary for 1 full night’s refund. She refused, used the cash to settle the bill. No compensation offered
