"Several buildings with rooms made for an unusual layout and a ground-floor room for us. Unfortunately, there was a fair amount of noise from a neighbour (upstairs I think) - as a converted cottage, there was presumably less noise-deadening material in between the floors. Bathroom was a little "tired" but everything worked. Good location in the middle of the village."

"I turned up and the hotel was an active building site and closed. The builders were really helpful, great people rang the owner defended my case checked and confirmed I had a booking. The owner 'not my problem, he needs to contact the booking agent' Hotels.com 'virtual advisor' was about as much use as a chocolate teapot. Couldn't find anywhere to stay, drove home"
