"We went for the comfort room. It was tiny. Nowhere to hang or layout clothes, not even a chair to put things on.
Superficially clean but needed a proper deep clean.
Breakfast was fine (good range of cooked options) and location excellent.
Certainly not worth the amount we paid for it (over £160). We plan to return to Rye as it is such a beautiful town but we will find somewhere else to stay next time."
"Our room had a very ugly view over the bins and kitchen extractor fans. This created a loud hum until around 10pm and also brought some cooking smells into the room. The walls are also very thin and we could hear the room next door very clearly.
However, after midnight the noise died down and it was quiet.
The hotel is in a nice, very rural location."
"Clean room. Very helpful staff. In the middle of all activities. Could not find hairdryer in the room. I thought that parking was available but it’s parking on the road and only two hours during the day but plentiful car parks nearby. Super ice cream shop attached to property."
