"Where to start with this place... Honestly, such a hidden gem, set in a very tranquil countryside farm setting. "Overall the hotel was beautiful and certainly kept clean. Bedding and towels were great quality and it was well looked after. There was always space on a lounger and the beach towels were a great size. The thing that let it down slightly was there was no service for drinks at the pools, you had to get up and order. This was especially annoying at the beach bar as there wasn’t really anywhere to wait and it often felt like you were in the way. It was also disappointing that the beach bar didn’t serve food into the evening."

The restaurants were overpriced for the quality of food you get. Be prepared that there are children everywhere, very family friendly. Not great if you are looking for a quiet property. The beach is nice as long as the water is calm. Once the wind and waves started, the water was full of garbage and was unpleasant to swim in. Overall a great property."

"Antoinetta and this property were nothing short of amazing. Our room was wonderful. It was comfortable, with everything we needed for our stay of a few days. If we had any questions, we were easily able to get in touch with Antoinetta, either via Expedia or just by calling her. Location is also great, Santanyi it’s a lovely city. and it’s close to a lot of great attractions. Their area is nice and quiet, the highlight be the private pool. Could not recommend this place enough!"

Hotel Apartamentos Cala Santanyi

"A well situated apartment with stunning views. Very clean and had a lot of amenities within it, which is great when you are using an apartment over an hotel. We were self catered but did opt for dinner one night which was €35 euros each for food only. The food wasn’t the best and was probably the most expensive meal we ate the whole trip which was disappointing. I would recommend eating at the restaurants in the surrounding areas instead or venturing to Santanyi town on an evening. We didn’t try breakfast so cannot comment. Staff were mainly friendly and taxis were booked for us in advance by the staff without any issues, which was very helpful. The balcony was lovely, a complete suntrap which was lovely on the evening. The only real issue (which is not the apartments fault) is the salty water in the shower and for cleaning teeth. My hair was a nest by the end of the trip, very brittle and my body was very dry with the salt water, even with lots of lotion! You will need to buy big bottles of water to keep hydrated and to clean your teeth, and the nearest shop is up a lot of stairs on the other side of the beach. Overall, I would definitely stay here again though!"
