"I rarely leave negative reviews, but this stay was disappointing. Upon arrival, I waited ~45 minutes for check-in with no assistance and had to follow up myself, followed by another delay to access my room. As I work online, reliable Wi-Fi is essential; unfortunately, it was inconsistent despite assurances. That evening, a neighboring guest knocked aggressively through a shared door to complain, which was uncomfortable and inappropriate. The next morning, housekeeping mistakenly asked me to check out. While the manager apologized and offered an upgrade, the experience was already impacted. Even after moving, poor sound insulation meant constant noise (voices, a crying baby, phones). I chose this hotel for comfort and tranquility, especially to balance work and recovery after a medical situation. This was not met. I appreciate the efforts made, but given the disruptions, a goodwill gesture would be appropriate."

"The staff were horrible, probably the most unaccommodating staff I’ve encountered on my trips abroad so far. I was kindly asking for the WiFi acess as I needed to update people about my arrival to Cairo, but the staff rudely dismissed my concern and gave empty promises. What a very unreliable service!"

"It was a good decision to stay in the Palace, a good addition to my first time experience in Cairo. Very safe area, some rooms have a view to the garden, I prefer city view and that’s what I get. Love the Nile river view. The staff amazing, very hospitable. "

"Property is conveniently located in the midst of the hustle bustle. Breakfast was good, lots of options. I had Hassan help me with my room as well as an extension for an extra day and it was great"

"Lovely oldy worlde atmosphere and attention to detail of days gone by. Nothing is too much for them. Extremely comfortable beds and I am very fussy. Lovely comfortable sun beds as well. Well worth buying the room with access to the M lounge. Best of all free golf buggy transport to VIP entrance to the pyramids 5 minutes away that the public can’t use to the base of the great pyramid. "
