"Unfortunately I was given s ground floor bedroom so the whole experience was somehow tarnished by lack of privacy - unless one chooses to close the shutter and use the internal lights."

"We very much enjoyed our stay at the Chateau de Lauresse, our daughter in particular enjoyed the horses that would come up to her and were very friendly. We had our dog with us who was very welcome and allowed to roam the gardens, and the atmosphere was very relaxed. The pool was excellent, the pool toys and sauna, as well as other games (table football/pétanque etc.), steam room, meant it was very well equipped and felt special. We had the meal which we really enjoyed, the portions were large so be prepared. We stayed in the royal suite, the rooms were very large and nicely decorated, comfortable beds and the biggest shower I’ve ever encountered in the en-suite bathroom, all with high ceilings so felt very spacious."

"We used the hotel as a stop before heading further south. Conveniently located close to the autoroute and the centre of Le Mans. The staff were really friendly even with me trying to speak broken French. We didn’t eat dinner in the hotel but we did eat breakfast which was utterly superb. Lots of pastries, fresh fruit, cereal and cheese. The only very minor point would be the cleanliness of the room. It wasn’t disgusting by any stretch of the imagination but could have done with a bit more attention particularly in the toilet area. Lovely hotel and would stay again."

"We love this hotel staff are great food is really good garden is fabulous beds are really comfy and always clean just a shame it doesn’t have air conditioning and would be nice to have a kettle in the room to make tea and coffee apart from that I can not fault it"
