"This hotel was perfectly nestled in the centre ville of Colmar… it was truly like being in a movie set! The staff were remarkable welcoming us with pleasant attitudes and walking us to our room. We stay on the 3rd floor( yes there is an elevator) and our room was overlooking rooftops of the old town and all the windows opened… the music that played from the Easter Market floated into our room. The room was perfect two twins to make a king size bed, a soaker bathtub and an amazing breakfast included in the morning. We wandered the streets ate at local pubs and took a stroll with the map provided by the staff to the marché couvert. This town is a must do, Easter was an amazing time to go crowded but managemble and all walkable. In the morning after our breakfast we used the FREE electric navette to get to our train station at Gare de Colmar. I would love to come back at Christmas Market time!!! "Wonderful experience. Beautiful property. Relaxing pool and sauna. Elisabeth took great care of us and welcomed us with champagne. Lovely people and great food! Could not have asked for more. Highly recommend this beautiful place."

"The first room smelled of cigarette smoke and the second room had spider webs throughout and the lamps had burned out bulbs throughout the room. The pictures on Expedia did not portray the room correctly. The room and bathroom was very old. Additionally, the breakfast was not appetizing. My family and I only stayed two nights. My wife wanted to leave immediately unfortunately we would have forfeited $700 so we stayed and endured the sorry accommodations. Never would recommend this facility."
