"We were here for the Avignon Festival for a week. This hotel sits in a superb location, great room, large bed, great service, excellent air conditioning during a very hot and humid week, effortless stay. Will stay there again."

"I liked the location and the patio. One young girl was very nice when we left our luggages until we left the town for the train station. But the bathroom was really really small and would benefit from small repairs. The access for the family rooms is by stairs, which is a pain with large luggages."

Also, we were there in the middle of a severe heat wave, so staff and systems were strained to the max. Housekeeping staff were VERY NICE, but Front Desk - not so much. Our room's A/C fan was on maximum and it simply wasn't able to keep up. By Day2 of our stay, water began dripping from the ceiling steadily - we had to physically move our bed away from it. "We loved our stay! The room was beautifully decorated, the bed a real king sized bed, the renovation thoughtful both in use of space and with beautiful old details left to shine. A plant filled courtyard and intimate breakfast room and lounge. Real glasses for enjoying the cold rosé. A beautiful stay. Add to that a bustling residential neighborhood just outside the tourist center, in the oldest building in Avignon and extremely welcoming hosts! Highly recommended"

"Charming hotel in the perfect location! Will dream of coming back! The view out of our window was the papal palace. The quietest hotel room I have ever stayed in even though it is city center. I am sure that was because of the cut stone walls. The breakfast buffet was good and worth the price. But there are plenty of dining options within easy walking. Our train was leaving later in the day so they were happy to hold our luggage after we checked out. Our stay really was perfect!"

"J'avais réservé pour 3 chambre triples pour être plus confortable; il nous a été attribué seulement 1 chambre triple et 2 chambres doubles (heureusement que nous avons pu nous arranger finalement entre les couchages pour faire rentrer tout le monde...). Une des chambre double était un couloir; avec une douche sans rien pour arrêter l'eau donc inondation... La clim s'est coupée en pleine nuit donc les personnes dans la chambre ont eu froid toute la nuit."
