The friendly staff greeted us on arrival. The hotel and property are stunning. We had a beautiful room with views of the St. Lawrence on one side and mountains on the other. The food in the restaurant was outstanding. There was a beach that could be accessed at the bottom of the property. There is a large outdoor deck where you can watch the most amazing sunsets. The property has a great significance in the history of Sainte-Anne-des-Monts and there is a wonderful exhibit on the original owner and the Chateau at the Historical Society a few minutes drive away in the town. Overall it was an excellent (plus) experience.

Magnifique emplacement doté d'un excellent restaurant gourmet. Accueil chaleureux et serviable. Si vous payez au moment de la réservation, Expédia vous enverra le matin de votre arrivée votre numéro de chambre et le code d'accès pour la serrure électronique. Je l'ignorais, mais le préposé a rapidement trouvé ces informations dans son système. Faites un détour de seulement 30 minutes en voiture pour visiter le Parc national de la Gaspésie et voir les splendides Monts Chic-Chocs. Eh oui, le Québec possède bel et bien des montagnes !

We stayed at Auberge Château Lamontagne in Sainte-Anne-des-Monts on May 30th. The check-in process was smooth and welcoming. Our room was small but cozy, and the highlight was the spectacular view overlooking the St. Lawrence River. The scenery alone made for a memorable stay. We also enjoyed dinner at the hotel's restaurant, which was delicious, and throughout the evening the staff were friendly, attentive, and welcoming. Unfortunately, our experience the following morning was disappointing. There was no hot water in the hotel, and initially there was no one available at reception to provide information. After some time, we were informed that there was no hot water available, but no estimate could be given as to when the issue would be resolved. As a result, we had to leave without being able to shower, the option being taking a shower in ice cold water. This was particularly frustrating after a long day of driving the previous day and with another full day of travel ahead of us. While we understand that unexpected maintenance issues can occur, the lack of communication and response to the situation was disappointing. At the very least, a goodwill gesture or some form of compensation would have demonstrated that the hotel recognized the significant inconvenience caused to its guests. Overall, the property offers beautiful views, good food, and friendly service, but the handling of this issue left us with mixed feelings about our stay.

We stayed in the King Suite which was lovely and recently renovated. The hotel, staff and food were excellent. The only comment I would make is that our room was over the compressor and although the noise from it didn't bother me at all, my partner found it disturbed his sleep. If you're sensitive to sound you might want to choose any of the other rooms. There are no hangers in the room - just hooks - so if you have something that requires hanging, pack a hanger. Great hotel!

The room was very clean. I put the sign to have the room cleaned...change towels and dishes, add more coffee. Nothing was done and the front desk said they don't provide cleaning this time of year, I assume she meant between guests! She did come with fresh towels and 2 coffee pods and cups and took away the dirty dishes. Staff were great, dinner was fantastic, view was terrific (no place to sit outside even through it was nice out). In the king room the bathroom walls are not closed off at the top, vaulted ceiling which leaves little privacy and no fan in the bathroom.
