"The room was amazing! The host has a ton of knowledge on the local food and shops, and even makes an amazing breakfast, too! The house is centrally located in a perfect spot for anyone wanting to see D-Day history. I hope to be back in Normandy again, and when I do, this is where I’ll stay! "

"This is not a 4 star establishment. We have stayed on better 3 star. The property itself is beautiful but it is run down and with basic facilities, we went for breakfast at 9am and they had run out of most food items, no staff around to assist. Had to go to reception to be told there was only 1 member of staff manning the reception and assisting with breakfast, as she was busy we had to wait for her to be free and restock the breakfast food. We decided to leave without eating. The on site...

"Tres surpris que les propriétaires soient juste a l etage en dessous et leur chambre au dessus avec 2 chats qui errent dans la maison ...aucune intimité et odeur de renfermé dans la maison ... Vraiment déçu, nous sommes reparti 30 mn apres arrivée...impossible de rester a dormir a cet endroit ... Propriétaires même pas surpris qu on Reparte aussitôt..."

"We were the only people staying here for the evening and the family made us feel very welcome! The room was clean and tidy with ample space for our family of 4. Clean towels and a bonus heated radiator! The gentleman got up in the morning to make a lovely breakfast for us with lots of choices. If you are passing through Bayuex i highly recommend you stay here! Thank you! "

Pas d'isolation entre la porte et le couloir, ce qui fait qu'on entend les gens parler, claquer leur porte et quand il y a un chien mal élevé comme ça a été notre cas on l'entend aboyé, un vrai régal. Localisation bien."

"The Hotel Manoir de Mathan was really nice we had a ground floor room which was huge it had every thing you needed even a kettle, the furnishing was to a high level the owner was a lovely lady, really friendly and helpful, and suggested a very nice restaurant which didn't disappoint breakfast was very nice, we only had a continental breakfast, definitely go back "
