The location is great 5-10 min walk to about 5 different train lines. Rooms are big for Tokyo and clean with free water daily. Shinagawa Prince Hotel
Rooms comfortable, but very dated, and generally quite shabby. Hotel is split across numerous different annexed levels. Had to skip the breakfast service due to huge queue/ inadequate provision for number of guests. This hotel needs renovation.

Hotel Villa Fontaine Grand Tokyo-ariake
Excellent hotel with large rooms (for Japan). Staff was accommodating and facilities were excellent. Ate breakfast one morning at the hotel and it was an incredible spread of both western and Japanese items.
