"Nice spot. Beautiful ocean view and nature. A few problems with the cabin though. The hot water cut out right when my partner was in the shower washing her hair - so she had to finish with cold water. Also the electrical power circuit breaker kept turning off whenever more than one electrical appliance was being used. For example, when the electrical fireplace/space heater was on at the same time as the electric kettle, they would both switch off. And then when my partner used the blow dryer, all the power in the in cabin went off, lights and everything. There was a circuit breaker panel in the room and when I flicked the switch off and then back on, the power returned. But it kept happening. When I reported the matter to the front desk, they sent maintenance to look at it and later reported both the hot water and electricity as fixed. The hot water had returned but the electricity kept switching off for the rest of the trip. I told them this at checkout and they offered no apology or discount but just said, "We know why this happened, and will fix it." Also, there were two frozen beers in the fridge freezer left by previous occupants, and a couple crumpled up pieces of paper - garbage - under the bed. If they get better cleaning staff and fix their electrical and hot water issues, I would give them full rating because it is a beautiful ocean view spot. But as it was I unfortunately have to give them a medium rating. Also the dinner was excellent at the restaurant. "

"The Beach walk was close by and I went there every day! Parking was easy, too. Room was clean, but basic. Shower and bath were good as there may have been some renovations not too long ago."

"The only negative about this property is we were assigned a room that had a door to an adjoining room. Sound from that room carried into our room and most annoying was a dog that was constantly baking in that room. I did mention this to the Front Desk when checking out. "

"It's pleasant that the room is newly renovated. The window blind could have been done in a way that it can be drawn to allow natural light to come but still maintain privacy (Rm 25). "

"Terrible communication. Only able to check in between 4-5pm. Got there no phone number. Room smells like curry, relatively clean but the stench was horrible. Pictures of the room are deceiving. Not at all the room as shown in booked pictures. Very disappointed. Great view but be prepared for poor service. When you go check in and your told it’s your fault that you didn’t call ahead to say you were arriving at 8pm. I don’t know where in the world 8pm is considered a late arrival. "

"We very much enjoyed our stay at the painted boat. It was very clean and everything we needed was there. We had a great swim and hot tub and appreciated the bath robes. "
