I can not recommend this place highly enough! Ludovico is an incredible host with a wealth of knowledge and so accommodating. The B&B is perfectly located in the heart of the old town and a short walk to both ports. I will 100% be returning.
Best location ever right in the historical center! Also, Ludovico was a very nice and attentive host and always asked if I ever needed anything and offered many good recommendations for Salerno and Campania. Very great B&B and would stay again if I ever return to Salerno.
Everything was great. Lovely place and very nice welcome from the owner. My room was very clean, fantastic shower, and the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in. Situated very conveniently in the old town. I highly recommend this albergo and will return!
Perfect central location in old city, close to beach and shopping. Walking-distance to railwaystation. Nice and clean room with fridge, boiler and coffeemaker. Charming apartment and very friendly and serviceminded host. A bit of stairs to the apartment, as always in old parts of Italy. Salerno is an nice and charming experience in itselt, and also a perfect stay for exploring the Amalfi cost.
Very clean. We had two rooms and they were different in size. Our bathroom had a b'day and was fairly roomy except the shower was so small that you could barely bend down to pick up the soap bar. Our room was quite small--there was 6 inches between the foot of the bed and the wall. The A/C in the other room was better than ours but ours was adequate. The WiFi was in the main lobby room but basically unusable in our rooms. I'm guessing the thick walls didn't help. There is no elevator but our host was kind enough to help us bring our bags up. He also helped us with info on local restaurants, etc. The bed in the other room was somewhat hard but acceptable and had a much larger shower. It is located amongst narrow alley ways so transporting our luggage took some time to get it to the car. However, the location was great. It was close to most everything including the ferry boats. Apparently they don't serve breakfast anymore, but since we stayed just one night and had to leave early, it didn't matter.
Voltaremos!
Perfect location in a beautiful house, the room was exceptional and very clean. Ludovico is the perfect host and gave us precious tips for everything we needed in Salerno, we loved every second of our stay. Thank you Ludovico for this amazing time!
A little difficult to find the B&B because it was on a very small, quiet street but we enjoyed our stay. Our host was very nice and accommodating. When you stay there make sure you have him make a dinner reservation at one of the smaller restaurants. His recommendation was excellent and one of the best meals we had in Italy.
This place was amazing and very friendly! It is a little down the road from the train station but not difficult to get to. The only problem I had was that I did not contact them before I got there and so I had to figure out how to check in but the owner has a shop nearby and everything worked out. Highly recommend!!
Lovely owner. LOVELY (!) and un-payable antique atmosphere (flat is from XV century or less! Authentic wooden planks on the ceiling, visible from the inside...). A must, especially for Americans who wish to experience European history. For a low price, a lot of history at hand. And the historic centre of Salerno is charming.
