"Great location for visiting Acadia National Park! It's close enough to walk to restaurants in downtown Bar Harbor although we typically drove to places because we were exhausted from hiking and the parking in town was convenient. The 24/7 free coffee+snacks+water in the lobby were super convenient too, almost more convenient than a free breakfast buffet. Most of our Acadia hikes were less than 15 minute from the motel which was especially nice on the day we went to Cadillac Mountain for sunrise. We were able to come back to the room for several naps throughout the day which was crucial considering we woke up at 3am to get to the sunrise!!! Would definitely recommend this motel for Acadia visitors!!!"

"We stayed in the hotel and we was very happy. with everything.Nice ,clean , close to everything and we stayed with a dog and was very easy and i recommend to everyone.Last year we stayed in different city like 16 miles from Bar harbor but not the same ..Hotel is little more pricey but worth it.."

Kimball Terrace Inn Northeast Harbor

"I enjoyed my stay at the Kimball Terrace inn. The staff in the lobby/gift shop (open 24 hours) were kind and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. The pool was beautiful and looked clean, but I didn't get a chance to use it. I enjoyed the onsite restaurant/ lobster pound also. Walking distance to quaint shopping district and right across from a pier. During the season, it is on the free shuttle route (I was there a week before the shuttle started, so I couldn't take advantage, but I had a rental car anyway). Older place with old fashioned keys and older decor, but VERY well kept. It was accessible with an elevator. I would definitely stay there again if I am visiting the area."

"Okay people are dramatic. It's not that bad. I booked this place last minute on the 4th of July for $120 after fees. I was reading reviews and you'd think this place would be a blood stained rat infested shole. Nope it was a basic motel with all you need. Yes the rooms are small, yes the shower is small. I'm 6 foot 2 175 pounds and fit just fine in the shower so unless you are a fat slob you will be okay. Cold AC, hotel shower, 200 channels, and an alright CLEAN bed. You people are so dramatic. Thank you Motel Robbins for a last minute gem."
