"Great hotel in a lively neighborhood with a lot of things to do. Only con (if you can call it that) is that the hotel only has 1 iron and ironing board in a room on the main floor for EVERYONE in the hotel to come down and share. Not a big issue, just something to keep in mind when booking with this hotel. I’ll be staying here again in the future…. But I’ll be bring my a mini travel sized iron/steamer with me next time 😂😂😂"

"I have to say I was somewhat disappointed in the hotel. The location was fairly good. The buffet breakfast was not great but hard to say what I was expecting from Salvador but overall, I give it a five or six out of 10. The seals and all the windows were blown out. The windows were gray and foggy, and the room smelled damp and wet. We had to move one of our guests or fellow travelers room because it was moldy inside."

"It was a beautiful property but the breakfast was very expensive compared to other properties in the area that provided the same type of breakfast but it was included in the rate. But other than that the staff were great, the location fantastic and the food and wine were very good. Would recommend it."

"The location of the hotel couldn't be better, about 8-10min walk toward the Light Tower and museum - a major attraction of Barra - and 5-7 min walk to the Morro do Cristo monument for fantastic coastline views. One can easily rent a beach umbrella with chairs just across the street to enjoy the ocean, breathing air, and quiet beach.
