"This property is terrible. Pool area is dangerous (dirty, uneven tiles, exposed filter unit that wasn't even working). Nobody was manning the reception area, the place was deserted most of the time. The room was unclean and did not smell good (drain/toilet smell was awful). No soap/shower gel in bathroom. Broken soap dispenser on floor. Filthy plastic bin. "The resort is absolutely fantastic. The staff will do anything to ensure you have a good stay. The free activities are incredible. Make sure you try yoga with the incredibly skilled Wayan and the walks with the activities coordinator are well worth it to see parts of the area you would not have seen. I had a 2 hour massage and scrub experience with Riki which was absolutely incredible and so reasonably priced. I recommend the spa !The only problem at the moment is what staff call ‘the conservation project’ which is in fact heavy machinery on the beach moving rocks to build a rock wall. They work from 8am to 9:30pm at night. I don’t doubt it is essential work but I would stay there once it is finished (this year according to staff) or just make sure you select your room carefully. I had to change rooms and the staff were empathetic and responsive to my concerns. The trouble is the construction moved to underneath my balcony on my last morning making the balcony unusuable. Besides this I would highly recommend Candi Beach Resort. "
