"No hot water in the shower. Charged us an extra 15USD for the 2nd person in the room. Food was so-so and pricey. They offered fruit for the morning as we were leaving before breakfast was served. They gave us one small container - enough for one person.
We’ve been staying here regularly when we arrive and prior to leaving Costa Rica over the years as have friends and family based on our recommendation. Sadly, we will likely change hotels based on our last experience. Very disappointing. I...

"Beautiful oasis in the city. The perfect place to spend a night before our early morning flight. The owner was so friendly and kind. She helped us get a taxi to the airport and even noticed we had a surfboard with us and arranged for us to get a bigger vehicle to make sure it fit. We highly recommend this place!"

"Our arrival was very welcoming and check in was quick and smooth. The pool area was nice and inviting. Our room was very tired, no hot water and I didn’t want to sit on the couch. It looked very dindgy. The bed was ok but No Hot Water at all. Bathroom Very old. This property needs a major renovation. Breakfast servers were great. Food was ok. Dinner was very good. "Hotel was unique- very cool. Pool area great, breakfast was great. Staff was very helpful.
