"This is a beautiful hotel very close to the train station. Beautiful old marble, wood and iron in the grand entry. They really made the atrium and breakfast area into something special. There are beautiful wood parquet floors in the rooms. Plenty of towels, robes, slippers provided. Wonderful tea/coffee service set up in the rooms. Amazing breakfast, worth the money. Old but well kept. "

"Stayed only one night before a cruise. Good location next to the main station and buses. Amazing old style lift. Room was great and loved the hanging hot air balloons. Shower was amazing and bed was comfy after a long day travelling and sightseeing. Even though it seems close we got a cab to the cruise terminal organised by reception when we checked out, it arrived within 2 minutes and took us straight to luggage drop off which was the best choice."

The location was perfectly located right in the city & close to many places for eating, getting a drink, shopping or just walking the city and exploring all the charm of Genoa! I reported it to the man at reception because it was freezing in our room - he came in, it took him a few minutes to get it to work, then he left, and then it got too hot and we had problems getting it to cool off.
