Hotel Best Western di Pantai San Diego

"The location is great. It was clean and the front desk attendant was very nice. I liked that it was within walking distance from restaurants and the harbor. I recommend trying Mitchs Seafood right across the street. The bed seemed old and was a bit too soft for my liking. I had a room with the balcony off to the side parking lot. Next time I’ll request one that looks out toward the pool. Breakfast was decent. Eggs a lil too watery. Parking is safe and free. I’d definitely stay again but...

"Easy walk to Balboa Park and the Pier from here. Public transport is just a few blocks away, if you prefer. Lots of dining options, you are close to both Little Italy and Gaslamp District. The hotel staff were great, the room was clean and beds comfy. No pool, but the rooftop patio was lovely! Note that you are downtown and with that location comes a resident homeless population. They were quite harmless, just going about their business, and were not threatening at all."
