"Very cute little motel, mostly clean and comfortable. A bit of a "you get what you pay for" experience. Downsides: Rooms could use a deep cleaning for dust and cobwebs in a few places, and there was some dried food detritus on one bedside table. Traffic noise was a bit of an issue as it's off a busy street and walls are kinda thin. The biggest issue was plumbing. Our toilet clogged (we didn't put anything in it except tp) and we both plungers we found to try to unclog it were broken. Samuel happened to be onsite and was very helpful in getting us a new plunger. But later that night we had trouble getting the shower to turn on, and when we finally got it on, it took a while to heat up, and then suddenly turned scalding, at which point we could neither adjust the temperature or turn it off. Luckily there was another room available but having to step out of the shower mid-shampoo, throw on a skimpy towel, and walk outside to another room to continue my shower was not very pleasant."
