"We had a wonderful stay at Pier South Resort in Imperial Beach! You really can't beat being directly on the water with such gorgeous views. We booked very last minute after unexpectedly needing to leave another hotel, and the staff could not have been more accommodating. They responded to my messages incredibly quickly and even allowed us early access to our room so we could get ready for a wedding that evening. We were so appreciative of how easy they made everything for us. Having lived in Imperial Beach many years ago, it was also really special to be back somewhere that felt so familiar. The resort has wonderful amenities, including complimentary happy hour treats and a beverage, morning yoga on site, and delicious food at the restaurant. There are also amazing, inexpensive tacos right next door! We had no trouble finding parking on the nearby side streets, and being able to walk the beach every morning was a dream. Thank you to the staff at Pier South for turning an unexpected change in plans into such a memorable stay. We absolutely loved our time here and will definitely be back!"

"The breakfast selection was actually good. The furniture in the room could use an updating. Parking available but it was tight fitting. Had cute outdoor covered sitting area. Bed was comfortable. Our room unfortunately was against the busy road so traffic was heavy in early evening hours. Pool and hot tub available. Close walking distance to beaches, food and shops."

"The floor of the bathroom is soft and feels like it has a hole in it. It has duct tape for repair. I’m assuming to try and prevent water to seep into the subfloor. Parking is atrocious. You have to pay for parking but they don’t have enough parking for guest’s. So you have to park on the street. Good luck with that."

"The property has a charming appeal and the staff is world-class, but the property is in need of some maintenance and upgrades. We stayed in the Penthouse. View was phenomenal, but the fixtures in the suite needs to be replaced. Terrace provided great views, but also needs to be repaired and refreshed."
