"This hotel is a solid choice for a weekend getaway. The breakfast is about what you'd expect for this level of hotel—waffles, eggs, oatmeal, and so-so coffee—but there are plenty of restaurants and great coffee shops nearby in Pacific Beach if you want something better. The rooms are spacious, which was a nice surprise. My one complaint was the bathroom: ventilation was poor, and the showerhead had some mold that could use attention. Overall, a comfortable stay with a couple of maintenance...

"The location is perfect - the rooms need some TLC - the walls need some cleaning up and the blinds need a good clean. The carpet is also a bit off-putting since it is much easier to keep vinyl (or other) flooring clean.The noise level also through the ceiling and walls could be an issue if you have loud neighbours above or below - very noticeable. They are were very lovely to help answer questions and they do provide beach towels and chairs which comes in very handy."

"For the price it did the job, no bed bugs, 1 of the two matts was well used which made it much more comfortable that firmer mattress in most hotels. Door had air gaps so you will see an occasional knat if coming in summer. Staff was great and helpful. Your down the street from PB so for the price, we enjoyed our stay."

"The location was the best part! Right on the beach. My kids were able to freely walk around. It was very safe.Parking wasn’t an issue at all. Free parking right upfront. You would have to wait in the morning times but a lot availability in the afternoon. We hardly moved the car during our stay since there were a ton of places to eat. "If I could give negative stars I would. I attempted to check into this property with a car full of kids after driving 5.5 hours and I could not get into the the house. The check in instructions said to enter the code which I did, and the lock appeared to open, but when I pressed in the thumb latch, the door would not open. As a fellow Airbnb host myself, I am familiar with the Shlage keyless entry system and I thought perhaps the housekeepers had accidentally locked the deadbolt. So I went...

"The only good thing about this place was the location. Everything else was pretty bad. We had one of the private rooms. I don’t think anything was cleaned. The shower curtain liner was pink with mold. The shower drain did not drain. There was hair stuck on the shower wall. Mold on the shower wall. I used the hand towel in the bathroom and behind it, stuck to the wall, was a hygienic liner from a women’s swimsuit bottom.. if they had changed the towels they would’ve seen that..
