Parking easy, basic room good for a stayover trip to San Diego
Convenient to Gaslamp district, Petco Park and Marina
Is located right off freeway exit, will have street noise
People who worked there were really nice but please don’t believe the pictures you see . The property is surrounded by homeless people the whole area is pretty scary to be around . Hotel looks nothing like the pictures … sorry but I would never come back here again . Staff very nice . First time visiting San Diego but I will never return to this hotel

average cheap motel, the kind you see on first 48. Front Desk guy was cool and friendly. Rooms a little beat up but not bad, better than extended stay america for half the price. overall not too bad
Overall the property was good and the staff was very kind and helpful. I chose this location because of proximity to where I needed to be during my 4 day stay in San Diego.
Property was very clean though shabby/aged. It is walkable to Balboa Park and Gaslight area. Close to City College tram station. Not many dining/eating places around but a McD's (in an emergency) about 500m up the road. There was a microwave but no plates or cutlery. Staff friendly.

The hotel was ok and room was a good size and clean. The area around was dirty and lots of homeless. The parking is free but not guaranteed and very limited. If are looking for a good price and close enough to uber this will work. We wont stay here again due to the area and parking situation.
Staff is friendly. Room was clean but dusty in some areas like air conditioning. The curtains were very dirty with spots of food. Very limited parking space.

Better than anticipated, beating low expectations
This is typical lodge in a big city center. Close to MTS, but the walk may be on the dangerous side as there were/are a lot of individuals temporarily experience homelessness on the streets. However, the property appeared to be safe, secure and clean. The front office personnel was friendly and available. Security was on par. Room was relatively clean and habitable. First night was a bit noisy from the neighbors having a party. However, overall no complains for the class of the lodging property this is.

Disliked: Amenities
All in all it was a good place for the price.
The gentleman at the fron desk was friendly.
Microwave was broken and it smelt a bit musty.
I'm paranoid about every hotel i sleep in so i generally bring sanatizing spray and pillow cases.
The rooms were very nice and clean. I liked how cool it looked inside like homie. The only thing is the view of the homeless outside but besides that it was nice. They had lots of tv channel options. Will stay here every time i come visit from now on.

It wasn’t a new building or a luxurious one but it served its purpose that it was need it for. Parking was horrible but very close to the freeway n close to major dining areas. It was clean n neat.
