I stayed at Kasa Gaslamp Quarter for two days and honestly, it was one of the best lodging experiences I’ve had in San Diego. The location is perfect, right in the heart of Gaslamp, walkable to restaurants, bars, coffee shops, and the downtown waterfront. I really felt like I was living in the city instead of just visiting. The unit itself was clean, modern, and comfortable. Loved having the full kitchen and cozy layout, it made settling in so easy. Check-in was smooth, communication was clear, and everything felt very secure. If you want the independence of an apartment with the convenience of being steps from all the action, Kasa is the move. I’d absolutely stay here again.

Great location in Gaslamp!

Stay here if you want to explore Gaslamp Quarter restaurants and bars and/or attend a game at Petco Park. Great amenities and spacious rooms. It’s in between 2 restaurants so may be a bit noisy (depending on your room location). Hallways and elevators were a bit smelly and dirty. However the room was clean and price was very reasonable.

Such a great hotel. Even being over a bar the noise wasn't noticable. Nice to be able to just walk to nearly anything from the hotel. $13 overnight parking within a few blocks

This is an OLD Hotel, which I loved as it was so historic. Completely remodeled inside though. Amazing location in the historic Gas Lamp District. So many great places to eat all around the hotel. I was here on business & it was WAY less expensive than the big-name hotels. I will be staying here again with my wife when I come back for my nephew's graduation from USMC Boot Camp in September.

This apt hotel is bare bones in virtual management.The location is very noisy at night as it rests on top of a night club. The rooms are small & clean even if the building common area are dated and in need of updating.

An excellent suite in a great location.

An excellent suite with a separate kitchen and living room which I wasn’t expecting. Right in the middle of the gaslamp quarter, which is quite a noisy area, but I had no problem with street noise possibly because my room was on the top floor. A great location, only 5 minute walk from Petco Park.

Great stay in Gaslamp during Superbowl

Everything was great. Was worried it might be noisy because of location in the Gaslamp and it being Super Bowl, but everything was quiet and they even supplied earplugs just in case. Check in/check out was simple and no issues. Great value, clean and updated room with a nice little kitchen. Will definitely stay again.

I travel for work and stay in hotels/air b&bs 1-2 weeks/month. This would have been fine for a vacation where I didn’t have to sleep and be functional but for anything else it was miserable. I didn’t realize at booking that there is a shared wall with a really fun bar/restaurant I frequent. The windows are old you could hear people talking outside. They provided earplugs but that wasn’t helpful when you could feel the bass that rattled the room. I asked to switch rooms or hotels and they offered another location wanting me to pay triple. It wasn’t as clean or aesthetically pleasing, but at least I got better sleep at motel 6 in Little Italy. I wouldn’t recommend this place for anyone that has to be functional the next day.
