"The staff was excellent. The hotel was clean but the ac in our room gave off a slight smell of mold. The ac was set at 78 and it was raining in Houston, so one can expect the room to be initially damp. However, all through the night I was coughing. At a minimum, the ac needs to be cleaned and the filter exchanged."

"This is a budget hotel so I kept my expectations low. It's easy to find and even though it's right off the interstate, it's not very noisy. That's probably because the in-room old style AC unit is making a fairly loud hum, and it runs continuously because this is Texas summer. The room is mostly clean except for a medium size spider in the wash area outside the bathroom. There are cobwebs too which means those corners have not been cleaned for at least a week. The bathroom has a sock in one...

"I booked a one bedroom with double beds and got a one bedroom with a king size bed with no way to get another room because they were sold out for the holiday weekend. I had my elderly mother with me to visit her terminally ill sister. I am disabled and had to sleep on a stained sofa! This is NOT the Homewood of ten+ years ago! So disappointed!!"

"Our stay there was awesome, this was our 3rd time there. 3 night.. The front desk staff were very nice and helpful. The breakfast staff lady, is also very nice, polite & on point with keeping up with food. The cleaning staff as well! The aminites around there are great! Definitely 5 ⭐.."

"Do not pay a cash deposit! The front desk claimed they “forgot” to collect my $50 deposit, and said they didn’t have my deposit on record even though I had already paid it."

"The room was Ok, in the restroom there were holes in the wall between the shower and the door, the toilet paper holder was broken, there were little roaches crawling around in the restroom, there was no water pressure in the shower. The door trim in the restroom was dirty, there were paint stains on the wall in the restroom behind the door."

"The exterior looked far better than the interior. The interior, including the 3rd floor hallway, wreaked of urine and smoke. The room itself didn't smell of urine and smoke so that was a small relief. The bed did not have bed bugs, but my usual search for bed bugs (I do this at every hotel no matter what) revealed a mattress so old that it was probably original to the property. Staying here was a mistake."
