"Away from the centre of the village, surrounded by mountains, we had a lovely view from our balcony of a field with donkeys grazing and a small chapel at the far end of the valley. It is quite a hike from the hotel to the lake. If you’re a hiker, then this is the place for you. The dinner was expensive and mediocre. I do not recommend the half-board plan. Breakfast was okay, very limited choices. They benefit from the high tourist numbers obviously reflected in the limited value for money...

"Einzigartiges Zimmer mit eigener Sauna und Blick auf die Berge. Frühstück von höchster Qualität. Aktuell Umbaumaßnahmen für einen riesigen neuen Spa-Bereich, dennoch kaum Lärm. Die Pizzeria am Abend aufgrund von der überragenden Pizza zurecht gut gefüllt. 10/10!"

"Sehr freundlich, stilvolle Zimmer, sehr sauber. Reichhaltiges Frühstück und Restaurant nebenan sehr lecker, guter Service. Einzig die Zimmer Türen sind infolge Türschliesser sehr laut. Man kann sie trotz Niederhalten der Türklinke nicht leise schliessen, da wäre eine Verbesserung sehr angebracht. Aber das ist echt auch das einzige."

"Just got back from a stay at Hotel Excelsior in the Dolomites and honestly, it was perfect. The sauna area was really nice and relaxing after a day out exploring. Food was excellent across the board, from the breakfast spread to the salad buffet at dinner. They’ve got a solid wine list, great coffee, and every meal came with a view that made you want to linger a little longer. The staff were super friendly and made everything feel easy and relaxed. "Overall, I would give this property a 9.75 out of 10. Everyone was extremely kind. The food was delicious. I absolutely was in love with my room. The view was beautiful. I love having access to the bus to take me into town. Parking was easy. The spa was gorgeous. I think my only complaint that took away 0.25pts out of my perfect 10 would be the fact that children were allowed in the spa and instead of it being a restful time at felt like a playground.
