"Unfortunately, our stay was disappointing. The property appears very run down and could really use some maintenance. The trash cans around the hotel were overflowing, which made the grounds feel neglected. The exterior would also benefit from a thorough power washing, as it looked dirty and uninviting. "First off I was being charged a check in fee of 20$ cash on top of my stay at this horrible place. Then they gave me the wrong room. SMH stay away from here if you want a decent place to stay. The towels were yellow. And the non smokers room was obviously a lie."

"No one mentioned the train the comes by at all hours of the night and blows its horn! Awful! The air conditioning was loud and we couldn’t keep it on. There was no phone, no Kleenex. There was ONE piece of soap for two people. The room, was clean! But I’ll never stay there again! Elsie, was nice but I guess she’s afraid we’d steal something because she requires a 50.00 deposit before you get your key! And she had to check the room before we left. Nope, we will never go back"

"Always clean, friendly staff, tasty breakfast, very lowkey area so pretty safe to leave your car at the parking lot. Lots of gas stations around the area and they always make sure to help you out!"

"Place was ok for an overnight stay. It was clean but there was a bug trap under the nightstand filled with dead bugs. Kinda gross , but I also appreciated it because There was a huge live cockroach in the room when we checked in. I also understood because it’s so close to the lake so it was not a big deal to me. All and all it was fine for our overnight stay while traveling. Check in and out was super easy and convenient. The owner posts her info if you need any assistance."

My son and I immediately left the room and went to the front desk request a different room. We were told that there was no other room available. "Simple, clean and affordable rooms close to NP entrance. I stayed for 2 nights by myself, only needed the room for over night, good base to start your Sequoia trip. Staying longer or with family I would spend a bit more and stay at one of the more known hotel brands."
