Cucuta is an "interesting" place and Ive stayed in the best Hotels, Holiday Inn is THE best! However Villa Real is the best for friendly helpful staff and no nonsense clean accommodation. By all means pay 3 to 5 times more for the best cutlery, but if you actually wonder why these hotels charge you 3X more for a beer or bottle of water (Holiday Inn charge 3X for beer and 8X for water) You may want to think twice...
