Pools and grounds are gorgeous. The whole place has a beautiful resort feel. Ocean view is the best on the north shore—crashing surf on two sides and calm swimming lagoon to the west.

El Conquistador Resort
Ran into all sorts of issue stating with TV, air conditioning, room door and fire alarms on a regular basis. Not to mention power outages was icing on the cake. Food quality was average but service was ok.

Costa Bahia Hotel Paseo Caribe
Ok but expect 2-Star service and poor amenities. The gym was ok. Parking was complicated. Many good walk to locations nearby. Don’t linger at the hotel. The staff are not very friendly.
