Thank you so much for a wonderful stay! We could have stayed much longer as everything was fantastic from the food, from the spa and especially the staff! We hope to come back one day.

I'd say this is one of the loveliest bed & breakfasts I've ever stayed in. The gardens are truly beautiful and it was awesome to wake up and look out at the flowers, plants and amazing wildlife taking in all the nectar. Jnana made us the best breakfast of our trip - it was truly awesome. They were so welcoming and friendly as hosts, and we felt very much at home there. Wish we could have stayed longer.

Great place to stay, easy reach of the airport at San Jose but far enough away to be surrounded by birds and wildlife

Beautiful location and the plunge pool was superb

This was a really well kitted out apartment. Probably the best we have stayed in in 4 weeks of being in Costa Rica. The owners have thought of everything. Nothing was missing from the well stocked kitchen. We didn't get to use the pool but it looked lovely. I'd highly recommend this place. There's a great restaurant on the corner called Chepes Bar and I'd highly recommend doing the Crocodile Man tour

Clean room, helpful staff. Room a biyt outdated but nice and spacious with everything you need. Pool was excellent as were the grounds. We had dinner and breakfast in the restaurant. Nothing fancy but very tasty and well cooked, good value for money. 25 mins from airport (12km), easy drive just a little traffic to consider

Pleasantly surprised given the negative reviews. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Great reception and concierge, very helpful. Despite what some people say the restaurant served high quality food for both breakfast and dinner. The service was quick and attentive without being too on your face. Every member of staff we met were friendly. Our room no 2 was well positioned for the pool, bar and restaurant. The icing on the cake are the views which are spectacular. Perfect first night hotel after a long flight. The hotel arranged an airport pick up for us. The room was very comfortable. All the staff were friendly & helpful. Food at the restaurant was great and reasonably priced. Would definitely stay here again.

I had an excellent stay at the Canal Grande Lodge. The staff were wonderful, really friendly and helpful and the hotel was spotless with large spacious rooms. It also had a lovely outdoor space with a pool and amazing views. A good option for those who are looking to stay close to San Jose airport but away from the busy streets of San Jose.
