"Our stay at Avenue Inn was very convenient. The location is perfect—just off the highway and right across the street from a supermarket. As EV travelers, we really appreciated the options: there is a fast charger (Level 3) right across the street, and the hotel also offers private charging stations in their parking lot for a $25 fee. Check-in was smooth, and the staff were both professional and efficient. We were very satisfied with the room; it felt larger than others in this price range. A huge plus was the window in the bathroom, which provided great natural light and ventilation. A fantastic choice for anyone road-tripping through SLO!"

"PROS: The horses in the field were delightful. The whole area is very clean and well kept. Nice greenery. My room had a bidet?! CONS: For paying the price of this place, the fact that they charge you for a continental breakfast is WILD. It's $14 for their breakfast. The breakfast consists of 2 beverages (a juice and a coffee or tea) and a pastry item, hardly would call that a breakfast. $14 for that??? Crazy. And if you want a bagel or anything else that they offer, it will be an additional $15+. Again, CRAZY. Also, the fact that my husband and I sat on the end of our bed and the entire thing starts FLIPPING UP TOWARDS US is CRAZYYYYYYYYYY. Also also, one of the reservation desk employees is rude. I came in to check out and give my keys back and she yawned in my face and was not hospitable at all. No thank you for choosing us or hope you enjoyed your stay. Blonde woman, should not be working with the public. She must hate her job because we can all tell by how she acts with the guests."
