"Gorgeous and unique property close to the Poas Nacional Park. The views were breathtakingly beautiful! We stayed in the Junior Dome and had a relaxing and zen like stay. The property was very cute and quiet in June. There was a nearby dog barking nonstop from a neighbor but not much you can do about that."

"Selva Verda is in a beautiful location on the Sarapiqui river, slightly further off the tourist trail but a true eco-lodge. Great place to stay to immerse yourself in the Costa Rican rainforest and spot wildlife. We spotted a lot within the lodge area. I would recommend the guided nature hike which took us further into the grounds of the lodge. The guide was very knowledgeable and went at a manageable pace for our group of mixed ages. "Wir hatten ein kleines, einfaches Zimmer, dass für eine Nacht ausreichend war. Es gibt auch größere Zimmer, für längere Aufenthalte. Das Haus liegt eingebettet in einem wunderschönen Garten inkl. eigener Kaffeeplantage. Ein schmaler Fluss umgeben von Bäumen grenzt direkt an. Der Gastgeber ist sehr herzlich und geht auf alle Fragen und Bitten ein. Wir haben selbstgemachtes Mangoeis bekommen, sowie einen selbstgemachten Saft aus Cas-Früchten. "We really enjoyed our stay at La Selva. Loved the guided tour that is included and also did a bird tour on the property which was great. Both guides were very knowledgeable and we had a great time on both tours. Multiple trails on the property to explore on our own. The staff was very friendly and helpful. "Leider das schlechteste Hotel unserer Costa Rica Reise. Der Pool wenig einladend, einige Stühle kaputt, das Frühstück Katastrophe. Beim Check Inn sagte man uns, dass die Umgebung nicht sicher sei und wir lieber nicht mehr im Dunklen raus zum Essen gehen sollten. "
