It is a nice, small resort with a small-ish pool and a swim-up bar. As entertainment, it has a tennis/pickleball court and an outdoor chessboard. It is a quite retreat, do not expect any vibes. Coco Beach is the “sister” resort, bigger, it has two swimming pools and very important- the only eating establishment nearby. Belizean Shores doesn’t have a restaurant or a pub or eatery at all. There is a small coffee shop across the resort closing at 3:00 pm daily, with breakfast and lunch options. We did rent a golf cart almost every evening to go out to San Pedro city for dinner - about 30 USD per 2 hours for a cart. At the resorts, one should expect exorbitant prices for drinks. There is happy hour only from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm - the shortest one, as everywhere else it is from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm. The staff is very nice and they go all the way to make your stay pleasant. But, one should be prepared for expensive supermarket groceries close by, and in general 3-4 times more expensive on everything than the mainland. Ohhh … and … yeah … be prepared to see a lot of garbage outside the resorts!!!

Our kids enjoyed the pool and sand all around the resort, condo’s were roomy, and the overall place had a relaxing feel to it. Staff was excellent and very nice.

The resort is wonderful, large rooms new looking rooms. Nice pool area , swim up bar. I loved the Hot tub . Great friendly staff. Helpful. I had trouble connecting to the WiFi and turning on the TV. They sent someone to help. The Dive trips pick up at the nice private dock. Good Dive tour company onsite. Breakfast and Dinner places, across the street. The only bad thing was the sea weed on the beach. The resorts put in a Lot of effort to clean it up. No swimming at the Beach. Need to go out on a boat or to Secret Beach to swim in the ocean. I do understand that the resort can not control nature. The large pool made up for that. If you book a trip to Belize. Stay Here.

Belizean Shores is the perfect place to stay if you want to be out of the chaos of downtown San Pedro. Even though you are outside of town, there are lots of restaurants near by and it's only a 15 min golf cart ride to town. Secret beach is quick and easy to get to as well from there. The resort itself is beautiful and well maintained. They did their best to clean up the sargassum everyday, I found it to be much cleaner than other resorts I walked by. You can swim off the end of the dock as well to avoid the sargassum. The pool was big and there was always somewhere to sit. The staff through out the resort were extremely friendly and helpful. The front desk ladies and the guys at the bar stood out in particular. Their service was A+!

Definitely would recommend this property. It is a perfect distance from San Pedro and is a great distance from Secret Beach. The staff was very accommodating to all our needs, and the pool was amazing. Will definitely be going back.

We absolutely loved this property and plan on returning next your. Having a kitchen is so important so that we didn’t have to eat out all the time. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes, utensils, pots and pans, blender, toaster and big water cooler for purified water. The air conditioning and ceiling fans kept the rooms cool. Housekeeping came every second day which was perfect. All the staff were so friendly and welcoming. There is lots of room for parking the golf carts. Due to the location of the resort you do need to rent a golf cart to get around. The golf cart companies will drop off and pick up your cart which is very convenient. The office staff will book anything for you, they booked our flights to and from the Belize City airport and booked shuttles to and from San Pedro airport. The pool is amazing and it also includes a real hot tub. The pool area is a big area and we never had issues finding lounge chairs. The cleaning staff did a great job of cleaning the rooms. The whole resort is kept very clean. There isn’t much of a beach area but we didn’t miss it. We went to secret beach for beach days and relaxed by the pool other days. There is a big dock area that offers water activities however we booked all our activities in San Pedro waterfront. There was to much sea grass at our beach so no one was swimming in the sea. The only issue is the sewage system We are not supposed to flush toilet paper down the toilet so better garbage cans are needed

Honestly, anyone who doesn’t give this place 5⭐️…what more did you need? Rooms were spacious and clean. The concierge was very attentive. Loved the bag of coffee at check in. Showers were hot and had good pressure. The pool and hot tub were fabulous. And tuff enuff tours goes off right from your dock so you don’t have to travel to find a tour. Everything is right in one place. And a good location.

Great location! The pool is the best! The staff is awesome! This is our third trip to San Pedro and Belizean Shores is our favorite place to stay.

Everything was fantastic! The staff is very friendly and helpful. Our room was perfect for the 2 of us. Drinks from the bar were exceptional! We enjoyed the quiet location but easy access to town.

Resort is top notch. Accommodation is neat, well kept, as is the whole resort. Staff are friendly and very helpful. Pool area is veey relaxing. Tours can be taken straight from the dock. All in all a memorable experience.

Everything was wonderful! Second time staying and I would stay again and again. The grounds and pool are beautiful and immaculate. The rooms are big and stocked with all your needs in the kitchen. The staff are so friendly and accommodating! I wish I could live there!

Staff was amazing. Pool was separated into multiple parts to make it an intimate environment. Everything was very clean. Had drinking water in the room. Adequate kitchen. Food from the restaurant was great! Loved the location.
