Great place to relax. Great Buffet, nice rooms, nice pools, great ocean to jump in and snorkel. It’s a great location, it feels safe to walk around. i suggest you take a walk to Bayahibe. Not pricey either! The entertaining shows were great.

Very nice pools! Very good food! Staff wonderful! Large Morning coffee table would've been nice centrally located! The entertainment music was repetitive and would've liked to have seen more of a variety of different types of music for dancing. Their fire show was excellent! Standard room was boxy, empty, a little claustrophobic. But clean. Do the upgrade when you first book your vacation, absolutely worth it! Staff across the whole resort extremely nice, friendly and welcoming. Not a place for the partier but if you want a laid back, relaxing very enjoyable vacation this definitely is the place!

We had a lovely stay at HM Alma Bayahibe. The rooms were clean, the staff was courteous and best of all.. the food was excellent!! The buffet was always full of tasty choices, and we were lucky enough to experience their beautiful Christmas eve dinner which was spectacular!! The pools are filled by the ocean and there is ocean access to swim off the reef. Best of all is the Sushi restaurant. It's hands down the best Sushi restaurant anyone in my party has experienced. Marguerita our server was an absolute delight. I will recommend this stay to everyone I know. Thank you for a perfect vacation!

Overall I had a great experience all of the staff was really nice especially if you tried to speak their language (remember we are in their country). Daniel and Aribella were always smiling and friendly! The room was nice I didn't expect to get a partial ocean view so that was great! I loved how every morning I could wake up and jump into the Caribbean without having to go anywhere (I would trade a beach for this any day). The food choices were plentiful with different options - Buffett, food truck, snack shop and 3 restaurants. There were a few slight snags (air conditioning dripped water) but staff fixed right away, remember you get what you paid for.

My husband and I just returned home from our stay at HM Alma De Bayahibe and I can't say enough great things about this property. For starters, it is absolutely beautiful. The large salt-water infinity pools overlooking the Caribbean sea make sunsets an absolute dream. The food at the buffet was always very tasty, although at times some of the dishes could have been warmer. The 2 included a la carte restaurants (Alma - Dominican; & Anima - Italian) were fantastic!. We also dined at Tamashi which is the Japanese/Sushi restaurant that is not included in the all-inclusive plan, and our meal was not only delicious but relatively inexpensive. The rooms were clean & modern. The staff throughout the resort were extremely friendly and accommodating. We did have an issue with our room where one of the wall panels fell down, however when we reported it to the staff, instead of just opting to fix it, they upgraded our room complete with a complimentary fruit platter & bottle of champagne, and also provided us with massages for each of us! The entertainment staff was a lot of fun and had us dancing every afternoon & again in the evening. If you're looking for a party spot, this is probably not the resort for you, as everything ends at 11pm - however it was perfect for us. Definitely a great place to go if you're looking to relax! We will definitely be returning!

This hotel is beautiful and the staff great, the fact that you can swim in the ocean is amazing and the sunset there is breathtaking. I read such a bad reviews about the food that I wasn’t even thinking about eating there but the food was good, a lot fruits and natural drinks to choose from, many good food options to please anyone. I decided to go because of the venue itself and I’m very glad I did because it’s a beautiful place a very affordable price.
