Clean room, east check in, felt safe. I did not have AC in my room and did not feel like I needed it, window could be open and was very cool. No hot water, I expected this from other reviews and it was fine with me.

el hotel ( hospedería) no cuenta con desayuno pero hay muchas alternativas en el área. es un hotel excelente si desea conocer toda el área histórica del Salvador a waking distance. si busca lujo está no es su alternativa. si quieres experiencia local es perfecta. Es una hospedería con lo necesario. otro pro es la cantidad de transporte público y privado que existe en el área.

I got a room with a very difficult access, even dangerous to access second floor, next to the street, very noisy, no hot shower, not even coffee or water I courtesy, attendance, not friendly, I will never go back to the hotel

I had a roach in my room. Room 23. They moved to room 14 which is right next to the common area. The guests were rather loud where you couldn’t even sleep. They charged $1.50 for coffee where coffee is always free in a hotel and the cup wasn’t even full. My AC unit in room 14 was leaking. I made reservations through the hotel to get picked up from the airport and they totally forgot to coordinate.

The rooms were clean and in fair condition. No fly screens on windows or doors though. El Salvador is a country with high mosquito populations. Two door locks in two of the rooms that were booked had to be replaced with new ones due to lack of maintenance. The issue was resolved the next day which was nice. We had to sleep with unlocked doors overnight. The rooms didn't have smoke detectors. This could be a breach of safety for the guests and hotel requirements. Staff were courteous. Cleaning of rooms by staff was good. I don't know how it works but maybe Expedia needs to send a representative to carry out an audit on the premises so Expedia can continue to endorse the bookings for this hotel. The hotel can keep operating as it meets standards in El Salvador but I don't think it meets the needs of international guests. All responsibility is on the owners of the business not the staff. I just want to clarify that.

Great value for the price, location was walkable to the historic center, front desk was staffed at all times and helped to facilitate transportation. Like other guests mentioned this hotel does not have hot water, but this is common in many buildings in El Salvador. The room had air conditioning, but this was not needed given the outside temperature. One thing to note is that there is some noise from traffic in the street, but it was not loud enough to be a bother.

Staff was excellent. Very polite and helpful. The place in general was very noisy at all hours of the day. There wasn’t any toilet paper in the room. Instead you had to use some paper towel. The room was very bright at night from the lights outside the building. The parking was a nightmare also. It was stacked parking and you had to call them to open the gate.

Not all rooms have air condition, neither hot water, but shower water is warm for the most, not hot. Staff is very nice and helpful, some rooms are near to the street and could be noisy but is understandable because is at the hearth of San Salvador, staff got me another room that was quiet. And I enjoy being near at walking distance to all festivities that happening on the historic center
