While the property is beautiful and well-located near the caves, several issues impacted our stay. The biggest concern was that day-pass visitors seemed prioritized over overnight guests. The resort was extremely overcrowded, and the main pool was too full to enjoy. A staff member directed us to a smaller pool marked for “members and guests,” but shortly after, another employee told us we could not stay there. Despite explaining we were directed there, we were still asked to leave. Staff then covered the “guests” portion of the sign in front of us, which felt unprofessional and uncomfortable. Room amenities were also lacking. Wi-Fi was essentially non-existent = no TV, and there were no basic items like a blow dryer or iron. When we requested extra towels for our group of three, we were questioned even though only two were provided. The staff was generally polite, and the food was good, but the overcrowding and handling of the pool situation overshadowed the positives.

The place is very dirty, the rooms do not have AC. The photographs with which they promote the place are very far from reality.

The property it self wasn’t bad the pool was nice , the rooms their self are terrible too outdated the shower gets clogged the toilet sucks the walls are moldy. Very dirty. Tourist be careful they will try to scam and over price shots and other alcoholic drinks.

Me gustó la ubicación. También la atención de un par de personas. En dos ocasiones se vieron en la necesidad de cambiarme de cuarto porque no estaban en condiciones de ser habitados. Regaderas rotas, pasamanos quebrados, puertas con seguro dañado y más y aún bajo esas condiciones cobraron extra según ellos por una habitación mejor. No good.

The property is very pretty. Beach front with 3 swimming pools. Drinks at the restaurant are great. I would say the location is great, the rooms in the back or family villas were we stayed are a little bit dated the bathroom is outside and it has an unusable living room with no AC. The roof top-deck is nice but they need to remodel the layout of the villas. Overall I would stay there again for the value even though is not exactly perfect.

The wait for the food was horrible. We had to wait 1 hours for some eggs and beans. The pictures on their website are old so the rooms don’t look anything like the pictures. They have no chairs or anything to lay down on in the beach. The rooms didnt look like they were cleaned

It was okay

Hotel itself was very lively and had alot of children in the pools. The Bungalow had AC in the bedroom only. Very narrow staircase. Rooftop patio with hammock great view in the afternoon, too hot during the morning and in the evening too many mosquitos to enjoy. Bathroom was not thoroughly cleaned. Staff was very attentive and pleasant. Overall the hotel had a very upbeat vibe and played music all day.

A/c broke down. Not once did they check up on us. The staff that checked us in was really rude. When we checked out the staff didn’t even get up to check us out. Didn’t give us towels had to practically beg for clean towels. Definitely would never come here ever again nor do I recommend it !!

The rooms were ok for one night but the restroom was horrible, dirty sink, dirty toilet and dirty shower is an old property and needs some work on it. The staff was a very nice and very helpful, food was very good.

YALI, es un hotel pequeño pero bastante acogedor, varias piscinas, acceso a la playa, restaurante etc etc...Ofrecen dos opciones en habitaciones bungalos y las que estan con vista a la playa, en lo personal los bungalos me parecen bonitos estan en el mismo complejo pero mas privado, con una pequena terraza pero los banos son demasiado pequeno no se si todos son asi!. nos atendieron muy bien todo el personal fue muy amable.

this Place is cute if you go for a few hours and pay $15 to use their pool and get those $15 Credit towards buying anything at the bar or restaurant. the food is delish by the way! I did not like the room i booked at all, it was not convenient for my older parents however Management got into work really quick and found 2 solutions: Another room or a Sister Hotel transfer, The Managers told us: you will love the other hotel called : Ixchel Restaurant & Hotel Boutique, We decided to stay at the new room at Yali which was way better than the other one and we also decided to go to the new sister hotel the next day as we had booked 2 nights. I want to thank The managers for their quick response and for making it possible for us to go to Ixchel Restaurant & Hotel Boutique which is a DREAM! Much more private, the staff was always so nice and helpful, food and drinks delish and the hotel is just stunning! We and specially my parents felt so relaxed. Now about Yali, The Place as i mentioned is nice for a few hours, I think this is more for like local people to visit for one day pass or stays, I would def go back on my next trip for the food! One thing they need to is to to update their Menus as they are old and some even run down, The first night we were there i asked for a menu and the waiter gave me a wet menu! lol, We asked for another and he just went away n never came back however the other waiters were super friendly and we got a clean menu. Food is good here!
