"A hard review to write. I gave 5 stars in most areas. The service and the overall property was excellent but for the price we had some issues. The KEY to the room is a huge pain! You only get one key and if you lose it there is a $1000 Swiss franc fee to replace it and a minimum 3 hour wait. Two doors to go through so it is very inconvenient. While the room we had was very large with a bedroom plus a large kitchen/living space with two patios there was only one TV in the living room! No bedroom...

I am particular to five star hotels normally but this hotel very special super clean super quiet, rooms, wonderful pillows they even give you a choice of pillows. Breakfast was incredible. "What’s beautiful Hotel, located just across the road from a private area to access the lake. A few nice restaurants close by and around a 15 minute walk to the town with lots of fabulous shops. Pool area is great also with a hydro pool and sauna. We had a garden room in the new part of the hotel which was very light and airy with a patio food out to a small patio with chairs. "We were very fortunate to have a room in the front with a wonderful lake view. The hotel is comfortable older property, but the room and bathroom were large and spotless. Location is excellent, right next to the bus stop close to the town. Restaurant is excellent. Only negative is the absence of a grab bar in the bathtub/shower."
