Just an average hotel. The front desk staff member was very nice, as others have mentioned, and I could tell that the hotel is family-operated, which is a plus. Breakfast was very basic, similar to other hotels, so don’t expect much, though they do offer free cookies for guests.
What I didn’t like was that we were assigned rooms in a separate building during two cold, rainy, and windy days, which made getting to breakfast quite inconvenient. We also had an elderly person in our group, so this was especially difficult.
The overall experience would have been much better if the front desk had been more considerate and placed us in the same building where breakfast is served. Yes, that back building has patios but what can you do in that 3-foot wide balcony when it's raining hard with strong winds for the most time of the two days?
Next time, when weather is bad, please be more considerate.
