"The room was very clean, however, the hotel was under construction. All three floors had construction going on, even in the hallways. Carpet was being laid, and I found numerous wood screws lying on the hallway, and one screw in the room. If I had stepped on one, it would have gone through the sole of my sneaker. "We loved its proximity to the Boise River walk and downtown shopping and restaurants."

"It was fine. I slept well, but I want to let you know that the front desk person was very hostile. She does not care about her job at all and seemed to want to be unhelpful. I was asking about where to park, about the shuttles and she bit off every word she said. it was very disconcerting. Also, why in the world don't you have automatic doors? There we were all pushing with luggage. Please mark where long term parking is."

"I stayed for a week and the clerk were awesome and helpful but the manager when I spoke to her about getting my bed changed about 4 days in acted like it was putting her out and said she would get to it if she had time. Place was filthy I wouldn't recommend"

Asked about the bus to town she said its a stop out there offered no info as far as cost or exactly where the stop was. Just nothing welcoming attitude. The other personnel were great a lady ensured I found my room when it looked like I was lost. The lady that setup the breakfast was really nice."

"We stayed at 500 on our wedding night. We did not arrive until after 10:00 pm. When we arrived in our room, there was a bootle of champagne on ice and a basket of goodies waiting for us, along with a personal note from the staff. Our in room brunch the next morning was fantastic. Even though we were only there for one night everything was perfect. Thank you to the entire team at the 500."

"We really loved the location. We were able to park the car and walk around downtown Boise. There are a lot of restaurants and bars with in walking distance."

"We love the sister hotel in walla walla do we decided to give the sparrow a try. The staff and customer service were absolutely amazing. The hotel wasn’t super clean, our bathroom was dirty and the hallway smelled of strong air freshener covering up pet accidents, lots of stains on the carpet. It’s a great location walkable to everything downtown and the coffee shop was amazing."

"We used to stay here but then found a new hotel that we liked better. We ended up booking here again this past weekend because our favorite was sold out. We had two rooms and neither party was happy. Complaints were that the elevators take FOREVER- I think we waited close to 5 minutes one of the times.
