"First of all, i didn’t stay at The Rooms. They put me at one of their other properties, which, if it were summer and I was a poor college kid vacationing with friends, would have been fine. But other than the location and the entryway, this Air B&B was not good! The bedding was old, worn and stained. The toilet seat was broken, the towel warmer didn’t work, the fridge barely worked so my yogurts were warm, the shower was the size of a phone booth and there were absolutely NO amenities!...

"A good variety of sweet and savory food for breakfast. Not a huge buffet though. Dinner menu changes each day. The pasta and steak i had were delicious. Enjoyed the private path to the public beach."

"We enjoyed five night at this well situated hotel, right on the main square and within easy walking distance to the beaches and nightlife. Also within walking distance to the train station and main bus stop. Rooms come in very different sizes. Our double room was clean and comfortable with a very good mattress. There is a small refrigerator and a lock box in the room, along with a tv. Maid service was efficient and friendly. The hotel staff were very friendly and the breakfast is good. The sons of the founder run the hotel and the one I met was attentive and welcoming. The three women at the front desk were all very helpful, and multilingua, with at least English and German among them. "

The toilet seat was broken, the towel warmer didn’t work, the fridge barely worked so my yogurts were warm, the shower was the size of a phone booth and there were absolutely NO amenities! Nothing! I had to go out into the “lobby” to use the kettle and there was no coffee… only tea. If I had booked this place, i wouldn’t complain, but I booked the other place because the rooms looked nice and there was a coffee maker in the room. This place had a nice view of the sea but it was mostly rainy and cold as it is February… so what was the point of this “upgrade”? The one thing I can say is that the manager/proprietor was responsive when I texted him and he did bring me a wine opener when I asked for one, even though it was too late because he didn’t bring it when i asked and i went out and got one from the wine store…🙄 They need to do some serious upgrades to these rooms! "
