"Our room was on the first floor and looked like the photos online - very pretty. This hotel is more of a motel with rooms that are entered from the parking lot. Check-in was a bit unpleasant. The affect of the receptionist was a bit cold and strange. Breakfast was ok - nice variety, and the coffee was very good and nice and hot. I didn't care for the selection of pastries and bagels, but there were plenty of other options. Location is very good - just a few minutes walk to the beach, restaurants and state street. Value for price paid isn't really there, but overall, it was a nice place to stay for the fourth of July weekend. It was a birthday trip and it would have been nice if the hotel had acknowledged that in some way."
